I got this for my husband who is a new Christian. He absolutely loves it! It's a beautiful Bible and the devotionals are great. I highly recommend this for new Christians or men who are looking to deepen their walk with the Lord.
I bought this Bible for my 18 year old son and he loves it. He is reading the Bible more than he ever has before. He is also enjoying the small devotionals that are scattered throughout this Bible. He previously had a teen Bible and wanted something more for adults. We searched Amazon and when we read the description on this Bible he knew it was the one for him. We are both glad we purchased this Bible and highly recommend it to other young men.
I've used this book for about 20 years in my everyday prayers and when I need guidance & inspiration. I've given it for gifts to close friends in times when they need a spiritual path. The stories are from women who live with the trials & strifes of everyday life and then it points to a bible text to read. I have found comfort & peace from reading this bible.
I love this book. Ordered it for my Kindle to have with me when I travel. I've had the pink leather bound edition for more years than I can count and have always found the devotions to be timely and pertinent to my situation. This is about my tenth copy of this bible. I keep giving them away. Not only is it easy to read and follow, but the devotions really give beginners a place to start. Say you're feeling jealous; you can look up jealousy and find a devotional from a pastor. That devotion will then lead you to the bible verses that inspired the devotional. This bible has helped me and is now leading my son in how to live our lives. Praise God.
I had purchased this same bible years ago, close to 20 years. It's paperback and definitely has been used. It's falling apart, but I never had a case or cover on it. It's like my security blanket. It definitely shows I've read it! I was excited to find the same one, with a leather (or faux leather) cover. I'm going to transfer my notes from my old to this new one and make it my new favorite. It's a nice size, nice font, and I like the devotionals in it. You won't be disappointed.
