This product really is through and through useless, and I can't emphasize that enough.All hospitals are transitioning to Epic based charting (or if not all are already on Epic) and once you are finally gainfully employed they teach you how to chart in at least a week's worth of training. If you have a job as an aide/tech in a hospital while you're in nursing school this is product is literally insultingly stupid and not at all based on say, I don't know, Epic?!?!?!?!? There's zero use for this product that paper charting can't be substituted for (besides for professors who are too lazy to collect paper charting and instead keep stupid products like these in existence). There's no reason to pay $70+ for a product that doesn't at all further our education. I could see some value if it was based on Epic and reinforced our knowledge of the charting systems we will be using in the future but it's not so it's without value as far as I'm concerned. Electronic charting isn't something that needs to be practiced, it's the concept of charting itself (recording everything to do with a pt's care) that needs to be practiced. BOOOOOO to professors that put us nursing students up to buying this. I'm grateful that my clinical instructor last semester also hated this program and had us chart on paper primarily, as we should be unless we are actually charting in our pt's medical records.I rarely (if ever) write reviews railing against a product but this one product needs railing against.EDIT: So I feel kinda dumb for not being aware of this sooner but the only redeeming feature of this damn program is it has a wonderful drug guide built in that is actually very useful. But of course access to this guide only lasts as long as the subscription you have and you can't really easily access the guides and say print them out? I still despise this program but at least they tried on that I guess. Med apps are just as useful though.EDIT 2: Knocked this review down to one star again because I haven't been able to even use this program lately due to my clinical instructor having access issues that apparently she can't resolve. Ridiculous.

For the most part, it's good at providing a simulated charting environment for nursing students. Where I gave it fault is that certain parts aren't explained very well, and when I contacted customer support about it, I received a general response that mirrored the FAQ that it came with. For HIPAA reasons, we can't input patient's real info, which is totally understandable, but then they should just format it to list patient names as John Doe or Jane Doe and provide general birth dates. Instead it tells you to input the DOB and then randomly auto-generates a different one that shows up on the "chart" - which leaves you scratching your head as to why they would even bother if it's just going to change it for HIPAA reasons, or worse, makes you self doubt that you entered the wrong data to begin with.Edit: I think someone at Lippincott read my review because this semester, none of the above that I pointed out seem to be there anymore. No more entering DOB, you select a general range of ages that the client falls under.The site's servers appear to be overtaxed whenever our class has an assignment due cause it'll either be extremely slow or not work at all. Again, contacting their helpdesk about it yields no satisfactory answers.

This is a requirement for my nursing program. It gives you a good idea of what kind of information is to be included in documentation. It has both flow sheets as well as the option to write different tyoes of notes. The hospitals in my area use EPIC, and this program is a little different. My item arrived as described and I had no trouble with my access code.

I was required to buy this for school. Personally, I am not a fan of DocuCare - it's unwieldy, confusing, and does not accurately represent any of the charting systems that I have used. It quite honestly feels like a waste of my money when I'm already proficient in charting in several hospital systems.

I think this product is the stupidest thing ever invented. It sucks that my school requires it and makes no sense since we doucment in the hospital database anyway for charting. This product is way to expense for the amount of time I use it, it should only cost $20-30. I hope this product fades out and schools realize it a waste of money

I used this for 2 semesters of nursing school and it's okay for getting to know how to document electronically, but the program itself is kind of whacky. It takes a while to get through the tabs and when reviewing the material before turning it in could be a little more organized. Overall, it's okay.

Very cute book! I bought for a baby shower for an old soccer teammate and I think she will love it! There are cute little rhyming riddles and then when you turn the page it says the answer with a colorful picture. I love that it's a board book so a little kid can play with it without ripping the pages. Exactly what I was looking for!

My 2 year old loves these books - they have cute rhymes and great pictures that he loves looking at as well. He's learning so many new words with these. Would highly recommend to anyone that loves sports as much as he does!

My daughter is 14 mons she wasn't interested in these soccer riddles. I'll reintroduce it to her again soon.

We have a 3 month old at home and I wanted something a little bit more enjoyable (for me) to read. I had never heard of this Dr. Seuss book but it's now one of my favorites. It seems funny to write this in the review of a book for little kids, but it is a great allegory to the cold war and the subsequent arms race that followed. It teaches some valuable lessons that we are all effectively the same with slight differences and questions why we often resort to violence as our first means of dealing with a problem. In the hate filled climate that our current president has fostered here in the US, this is a great reminder that we're all the same, we just butter our bread a little different than our neighbor which is OK!

This is hands down my favorite Dr. Seuss book. I raved about it so much to my students that when one of my students graduated he gave me a copy. I have since given this book to all the little kids in my life.The drawings are topnotch and the whimsical names for things are classic Dr. Seuss. But that isn't why it is my favorite book. The Butter Battle Book manages to distill the ridiculousness of the Cold War and mutually assured destruction into terms a child could understand. Perhaps if more adults read this book back in the day it wouldn't have taken until the 90's for the Cold War to end.

Dr. Seuss takes one of the most historic eras of the twentieth century and transforms it into one of life's lessons that may appeal to young and old. The Butter Battle Book was first published in 1984 during the latter part of the Cold War of the mid 1980s. The story involves two communities, the Yooks and the Zooks, and what can they possibly be in conflict with? The right and wrong of spreading butter on a piece of bread, the Yooks argue that butter should be spread on top of the bread while the Zooks believe it should be spread on the bottom side of the bread. What arises after each cannot come to a consensus?The entire premise of the story involves building new inventive concoctions to deter the opposing group. As all of this is going on within each side, the Yooks and the Zooks simply cannot see an end to the conflict. Instead, they continue to build and build bigger walls and massive machinery with the attempt that one will give up. However, neither side gives in. And as one reads the story, one of the resolutions that neither side even attempted, a peaceful means of negotiation through communication and speaking with each side rather than producing more unnecessary inventions that simply have not worked. So where does the story end? Where it began.The Butter Battle Book is one of Dr. Seuss's classic stories that falls within the same vein as other controversial storylines that speaks to the masses and offers a lesson, The Lorax. This story also leaves much room for further discussion almost twenty years after it was written as well as within the present day.

Oh, how can you not love a good Seuss? If you liked Sneetches or Yertle, this will be up your alley. Interesting kind of social commentary, but with the awesome inventiveness of Seuss. It's a little violent- talking about blowing each other up and stuff... it is a book about battle, after all. But I think it's valuable. It's a pretty long story for Seuss. Maybe stick to others for preschool aged children based on reference to violence and length, but you'll know what's right for your family. I'm an expert at reading Dr. Seuss. I've been reading his books to my daughters for the past 18 years. This book is FANTASTIC. This is my new favorite. We were laughing half the time because it's quite funny. If your a Seuss fan, you need this book.

Rember thinking this was an ok story when I was a kid. Liked it well enough to buy it for my own kids based on my memory. Read it again as an adult and knowing more history; I got it in a whole different way. No regrets on buying this, I will read it to myself if my kids won't listen.

Really, it's my 3-1/2 year old grandson who loves it and asks to have it read to him over and over again. Interesting ending that has provoked a fair amount of discussion with him... Who does win? Does anyone? Is there such a thing as really winning in this situation?

I have always loved Dr. Seuss! The Butter Battle Book is a great Seuss-ian look at the follies of mankind as we attempt to have the biggest, best, fastest, "most-est" weapons. The characters are relateable and the drawings are typical Dr. Seuss. Such a fun read. I first read this book, from a book fair, while waiting on a parent to arrive at her scheduled conference with me. I thoroughly enjoyed it then and did when I read it before giving it to my niece's first-grade daughter. As a child, I would read and re-read and re-read my Dr. Seuss books. I hope that my grand-niece will enjoy doing the same with The Butter Battle Book!

My 6-year old loved the twists and turns in this book! She also loved that the mystery-solver is a girl! The part with Mrs. Crenshaw reminds me a bit of The Sand Lot. Very enjoyable read for my transitioning 2nd grader!

Really enjoyed the interactions between the three friends and a dog who set out to solve the mystery of the disappearance of a pet turtle called Mr. T. Brought back my own memories of the excitement of a snow day from school. Highly recommend.

Young readers will get lost in the world of this little girl and her adorable dog. They will find the characters to be relatable and the mystery quite intriguing.As a mom, my 3rd grade daughter confirmed my thoughts that this was the perfect book for elementary students. She laughed out loud at some parts and felt sad and even scared at other parts...all emotions that led to her not being able to put the book down! The advice is straightforward and concise, yet professional and sophisticated while still staying a pleasurable read due to the smooth, almost conversational tone that overlaps the writing style. I also found the pictures to be especially helpful and they compliment the overall informative and well-refined writing style very well.Overall, it's the perfect book for beginners, such as myself, though I'm sure even the more plant-competent people out there could learn quite a few new tricks from this read. I highly recommend it!

I'm don't understand why this has as many positive reviews as it does. My primary issues summarized as follows (in order of importance): - It is very short. There are 90 pages total. Those pages are smaller than average, the font size is large with 1.5 line spacing, and there is a lot of white-space. I have no experience with SQL, and read this carefully in less than an hour. - For the reason above, this item (I won't call it a book) is very overpriced. - It is not professionally edited or published, which would not be a problem except that many errors were not caught.

Short, full of errors and misleading. Only SQL server dialect is considered by the way. If you want to became familiar with SQL language quickly - pick some good interactive or video tutorials online instead. If your goal is a proficient SQL knowledge - good-old-well-known-tomes are the best choice. I have no idea why this book has so many 5 star reviews.
